You have to set some fundamental settings on the maker's panel to start executing trades.
Deposit Session balance
Deposit Penalty balance
Deposit Fee balance
Set your security settings: max gas fee, max slippage, and token list
You can check what a session is here.
The most important is that the session account is pushing trades to the blockchain for settlement, so it should hold money that would cover gas costs. We deposit session balance in native token for a specific blockchain.
The first step to set up our Maker panel is to deposit session balance.
Click on the "edit" icon.
2. Select "Deposit" from the drop-down menu.
3. Specify an amount you want to deposit, and then click "Deposit".
4. Confirm your deposit with MetaMask wallet.
You can withdraw your Session balance any time you want.
Market Maker has full control over its reputation. Constant trade rejections will cause reputation damage. Every time Market Maker rejects a transaction, we send a compensation to Market Taker. The compensation comes from your "Penalty balance". So to start trading, you need to deposit some amount on your "Penalty balance" in case you would reject incoming requests.
You can deposit Penalty balance the same way you deposit Session balance.
You can withdraw your Penalty balance any time you want.
Every transaction made on our platform has a specific fee that a maker need to pay. Fees will be charged from the fee balance account, so you must have funds in your account to begin trading.
You can deposit Fee balance the same way you deposit Session balance.
You can withdraw your Fee balance any time you want.
Max gas fee is a maximum amount that you're willing to pay for transaction gas in GWEI. Order requests that exceed the gas fee will not be sent to the blockchain for settlement.
Click on the "edit" icon.
2. Enter a new value and click the update button.
Max slippage is a maximum percentage of slippage you're willing to accept. Slippage is a percentage value of the price fluctuation. It's the difference between the current price of an asset and a price at which the market taker made transaction.
Max slippage is one of the security settings, which means it's superior to all slippage values for each pricing rule set on the quoter panel.
Since Maker is independent of our server, it allows you to set max slippage value lower than the lowest slippage value in pricing rules. This value is valid, however, we display an alert informing you that it's lower than the lowest pricing rule slippage value.
To avoid confusion related to rejecting transaction requests, we do not recommend setting max slippage lower than the rules.
You can change the Max Slippage value the same as Max Gas Fee value. Click "edit" button, insert new value and click "Update".
Your tokens are a list of crypto assets that you are willing to trade with. You have to add tokens from the available list in order to enable the Trade Executor. For every added token, you have to set your allowance. Allowance allows us to carry out a transaction of a certain amount of your tokens, which are associated with your address.
Click "Add new token" button to add new tokens.
2. Select asset from a token list and click "Add".
Left click on one of the tokens, and you will see a drop down menu.
2. Select "Set allowance" option.
3. Insert your allowance value and click "Approve"
